IMAGES ALONG THE WASHINGTON & OLD DOMINION TRAIL

The following photographs were taken on November 2, 1997 along a roughly six-mile stretch of the trail (from Sandburg Street to Hunter Mill Road). Areas involved include Dunn Loring and Vienna. As you move from left to right, images go from east to west.
Note: I realize that to many people these images may all look the same but if you frequent the trail (as I do on bicycle), hopefully you'll recognize and enjoy these photos. I really love being on the trail due to it's connection with the past and nature.

The soccer fields just south of the trail (west of Vienna) at mile marker 13.5. I love this scene, sorry that my photo doesn't do it justice.
Hunter Mill Road intersection. BEWARE! This is a dangerous crossing.
